Exploring the Jungles of Papua New Guinea and a Generous Grant
Healing Seekers Announces Latest Educational Video
Healing Seekers is proud to release their latest video: Papua New Guinea: Moss, Malaria, and Mumu. In this video, the team goes deeper into the jungle, finding a plant used locally for malaria and having a little fun learning how to signal to one another over distances. Jack shows Amy how they use a moss to clean themselves, and then leads the team to his home where they meet his wife and children. The video highlights some of the biodiversity of the area and cultural practices and ways of life.
This educational video was made possible through the kindness and generosity of the Molly Millis-Hedgecock Donor Advisory Fund. The Board and Team would like to take this opportunity to thank the Molly Millis-Hedgecock DAF for the funding to create this video.
Healing Seekers receives Grant from the Emily Millis-Hiatt Donor Advisory Fund
Josh Jones, Sound Director with a new friend
The Board and Team of Healing Seekers would like to thank the Emily Millis-Hiatt DAF for giving another grant which will allow the continual creation of educational videos. We are deeply grateful for the support of the Emily Millis- Hiatt DAF for this grant as well as all of the support over the years. Without this support, and that of the Molly Millis- Hedgecock DAF grants, Healing Seekers would not have these materials produced and accessible to educators and school systems.
The videos are designed to complement school curricula while broadening minds. Topics range from biology and physiology to ecology and social studies.
